Grow with the Pros: Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment's Annual Movember Campaign is underway
Team MOple Leaf Sports begins Movember campaign with its highest number of player participants ever.
TORONTO, Nov. 6, 2013 /CNW/ - Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment is giving fans the chance to team up with their favourite players from their Toronto teams, the Maple Leafs, Raptors, Toronto FC and Marlies. Led by Toronto Maple Leaf Colton Orr, Team MOple Leaf Sports is hoping to grow to greater lengths than ever before.
In 2012, with a team of 289 Mo Bros and Mo Sistas (4th largest in Canada), Team MOple Leaf Sports raised $91,932 (8th place in Canada). This year the campaign hopes to surpass 300 members and $100,000 raised.
"For years MLSE has been a leader in Canada both in sport and in support of men's health," Commented Pete Bombaci, Movember Canada's Country Director. "The growth of their Movember journey has been amazing to watch and the month wouldn't be the same without them. We truly appreciate the dedication they have shown with their upper lips, both internally and on the MLSE teams. They truly are helping to change the face of men's health."
To help achieve this year's goal, Team MOple Leaf Sports has enlisted the help of 24 players from the four MLSE teams, the largest number of player participants yet. Those growing are:

As a part of the team's Movember campaign, the Toronto Maple Leafs will host a Movember Awareness Night on November 19 versus the Phoenix Coyotes. The game will feature Movember-themed activities and significant in-arena promotional activations.
