GrowthWorks Canadian Fund Ltd. Announces Change to its Board of Directors

TORONTO, Dec. 1, 2014 /CNW/ - GrowthWorks Canadian Fund Ltd. (the "Fund") today announced that Nancy E. Hopkins has resigned as a director of the Fund, effective as of November 26, 2014. In June 2014, the Fund announced a reduction in the size of its Board of Directors. Ms. Hopkins, the former Chair of the Audit Committee of the Fund, remained a director of the Fund following that announcement pending the completion of the Fund's annual financial statements for fiscal 2013.

The Fund wishes to thank Ms. Hopkins for her long service and dedication to the Fund.  The Board of Directors of the Fund has no present intention to fill the vacancy on the Board arising as a result of the resignation of Ms. Hopkins.
