GrowthWorks Canadian Fund Ltd. Announces Changes to its Board of Directors

TORONTO, June 6, 2014 /CNW/ - GrowthWorks Canadian Fund Ltd. (the "Fund") today announced changes to the Fund's Board of Directors which are intended to reflect recent developments in the Fund's business activities and reduce the administrative costs of the Fund, while maintaining the Board's ability to engage in effective dialogue and decision-making.  The following directors have resigned as directors of the Fund, effective immediately: Dermot Cain, Andre Chartrand, Michel Grenier, John Hardy, Joseph Maloney and Ed Power.  The Fund wishes to thank each of the departing directors for their long service and dedication to the Fund.  The Board of Directors of the Fund has no present intention to fill the vacancies on the Board as a result of these resignations.
