MONTREAL, July 6, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - The Saskatchewan Gymnastics Federation follows Gymnastics Ontario's lead by partnering with Amilia to automate its administrative operations. The software developed by the Canadian company will simplify the management of memberships and the federation's registrations.
Embracing new technologies
This agreement with an initial term of five years will enable Gymnastics Saskatchewan to improve the online experience of its 55 clubs and its 14,000 members. Jamie Benson, Gymnastics Saskatchewan manager explains the reasons which prompted the Federation to make a change: "We believe the Amilia software will allow us to reduce our level of anxiety during periods of enrollment by providing a simple and intuitive platform to our users."
Improving governance
Improved governance is part Gymnastics Saskatchewan's 2016-2020 strategic plan. Amilia's software provides the necessary tools to accomplish this objective by facilitating accountability, significantly reducing remittances and ensuring better data management.
Investing in an innovative model for sports federations
The popularity of the software developed by Amilia is far from fading according to François Gaouette, CEO of the company. Mr. Gaouette explains that "The federation model developed by Amilia fills a technological gap. The technical needs of the sports federations have not been fully served by current platforms, until now." The solution developed by Amilia is based on a new concept: the online resale through a virtual warehouse. Over the course of the next year, over one million dollars will be invested in the development of this new business model.
