Habitations Trigone and Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ Break Ground on Viva-Cité Espace Nature Français
LONGUEUIL, QC, Oct. 3, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - Habitations Trigone and its partner Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ have broken ground on a new residential rental project, Viva-Cité Espace Nature.
Located in Longueuil, on Maurice-Savoie Street, facing the magnificent Boisé du Tremblay, Viva-Cité Espace Nature will welcome its first tenants in the spring of 2019. This real estate project is part of three complexes under the Viva-Cité banner that will be built in 2019 and joins seven other developments already completed in various municipalities on Montréal's South and North Shores.
The Viva-Cité concept offers all-inclusive condo-style apartments geared to 55+ active adults. Occupants have access to a terrace, gym, multipurpose room and other activity areas. Among the services available to residents is an activity program developed by a recreationologist. Rent includes Internet, telephone, cable, electricity, air conditioning and appliances.
"Our approach combining an all-inclusive formula and living spaces with a human dimension is a great success. Viva-Cité Espace Nature will consist of 120 apartments designed for a 55+ crowd looking for a stimulating living environment," said Patrice St-Pierre, president of Habitations Trigone.
"The completion of this new project is another step in the expansion of the Viva-Cité banner and allows us to consolidate an already solid partnership with Habitations Trigone. Our complementary roles continue to be of the greatest benefit both in terms of spin-offs for Fonds de solidarité FTQ shareholders and in terms of creating jobs, which will amount to over 100 for this project," said in turn Normand Bélanger, president and CEO of the Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ.
