Haggar Canada and the Hockey Hall of Fame team up for Father's Day Contest
TORONTO, June 4 /CNW/ - Haggar Canada, maker of men's casual pants, dress pants and suit separates, is teaming up with the Hockey Hall of Fame and Sears Canada for a Father's Day contest like no other. Treat your Dad to a Haggar VIP Hockey Hall of Fame Weekend is set to launch at the beginning of June, just in time for Father's Day.
Aimed at family members looking for a special gift this Father's Day, contestants fill out a ballot at any Sears Department store across Canada for their chance to win 1 of 6 four-day trips for 2 to Toronto to attend the Legends Classic hockey game as well as the Hockey Hall of Fame Induction Celebration from November 5 to 9, 2010.
Secondary prizes include Hockey Hall of Fame jerseys signed by Hockey legends and Hall of Famers, Johnny Bower and Yvan Cournoyer.
"This is a gift of a lifetime," explains Michael Stitt, President of Haggar Canada. "The love of hockey is a special bond between fathers and their kids. This contest celebrates that bond."
In addition to the contest, Haggar Canada, the Hockey Hall of Fame and Sears have arranged for special in-store autograph signing sessions. Some of the absolute greats of the game will be on-site at different Sears locations to sign autographs and have pictures taken with their fans at sessions hosted by the one and only Ron Ellis.
