Halloween Haunt Opens This Friday with All-New Zombies 4D Ride
VAUGHAN, ON, Oct. 1, 2014 /CNW/ - Canada's Wonderland opens its 10th annual Halloween Haunt this Friday, October 3, 2014. Halloween Haunt features over 700 monsters, 10 spine-chilling mazes, three scare zones, live shows and terrifying thrill rides in the dark.
Halloween Haunt unleashes an all-new attraction this year, Zombies 4D. This interactive dark ride brings you into the core of Wonder Mountain where zombies roam and are on the hunt for their next victim. Riders will have an opportunity to showcase their gaming skills as they compete against, and alongside, their fellow riders, in a bid to come out of this nightmare alive.
Adding to this year's terrifying line-up are three live shows, including Toxicity, a gathering of mutant acrobats showcasing their feats of drop-dead strength and athleticism inside Wonderland Theatre. Back by popular demand; Skeleton Crew, a dazzling display of fire breathers and a death defying trampoline performance; and, Mysterion the Mind Reader, the dramatic psychic power of this master mentalist reads the minds of the most unsuspecting mortals.
If you're looking for another level of fear, Halloween Haunt introduces Skeleton Key to the front of the line maze pass, Fright Lane. Skeleton Key "unlocks" an exclusive secret extra room inside five Halloween Haunt mazes that guarantees to expose your greatest fears.
Halloween Haunt gates open Friday, October 3 and runs through until October 31st from 7:00 PM until midnight. Halloween Haunt is designed to scare and therefore not recommended for anyone under the age of 13. Most park rides and attractions will be in operation. Guests are not permitted to attend the event in costume. For more information on Halloween Haunt tickets and operating schedule, please log onto our Haunt website: www.canadaswonderland.com/haunt
