Public comments invited
OTTAWA, Aug. 21, 2017 /CNW/ - The Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency (the Agency) is conducting a federal environmental assessment of the proposed Hardrock Gold Mine Project, located in Ontario.
The Agency invites the public and Indigenous groups to comment on the potential environmental effects of the project and the proposed measures to prevent or mitigate those effects as described in a summary of the Environmental Impact Statement submitted by the proponent, Greenstone Gold Mines.
Information sessions will be held during the comment period.
This is the third of four opportunities for the public to comment on this project. All comments received will be considered public.
