"The Government of Canada is pleased to again support our athletes through a contribution to the 2012 LG Snowboard FIS World Cup" said Minister of State Gosal. "The enthusiasm and dedication of our Canadian snowboarders are an inspiration to us all, and I wish them much success as they continue their pursuit of excellence."
"On behalf of the Government of Canada, I would like to welcome athletes from Canada and around the world," said Minister Lebel. "We are proud to host them once again and to show off the natural beauty of our region and the hospitality of our communities. Our support for the marketing of this prestigious sport competition helps raise the profile of the Québec City region abroad and brings major economic benefits."
