TORONTO, April 10, 2012 /CNW/ - HBO Canada, a multiplex channel of Corus Entertainment's Movie Central (Western Canada) and Astral's The Movie Network (Eastern Canada), presents Girls, a new series from HBO that takes a comic look at the assorted humiliations and rare triumphs of a group of girls in their early 20s living in New York. Girls is created by and stars Lena Dunham and is executive produced by Dunham, Judd Apatow and Jenni Konner. The series premieres Sunday, April 15 at 10:30 p.m. ET/MT on HBO Canada, day-and-date with the U.S.
