Health and Wellness Ministers to Discuss Health Care Innovation at Halifax Conference Français

HALIFAX, Sept. 26, 2012 /CNW/ - Nova Scotia's Health and Wellness Minister David Wilson will host Health Ministers from across the Provinces and Territories tomorrow, Sept. 27, at the Lord Nelson Hotel, 1515 South Park Street, Halifax.
Minister Wilson said the ministers will be discussing practical innovations that each province and territory can adopt to improve patient care. The ministers are tasked with implementing recommendations of the Health Care Innovation Working Group which is co-chaired by Premier Wall and Premier Ghiz and composed of all provincial and territorial health ministers.
''We've got one of the best health care systems in the world and I look forward to our discussions about how to improve patient care through further innovation,'' said Nova Scotia Health and Wellness Minister David Wilson.
The provincial territorial meetings will be followed by a meeting with the federal Health Minister Leona Aglukkaq on September 28.
