Health Canada - Notice to the Media for the Launch of the Preventing Drug Abuse Media Campaign

OTTAWA, Oct. 19, 2014 /CNW/ -

The Honourable Lisa Raitt, Minister of Transport, on behalf of the Honourable Rona Ambrose, Federal Minister of Health, will launch a campaign aimed at helping parents effectively talk with their teens about the harmful effects of marijuana use and prescription drug abuse.

Minister Raitt will be available to answer questions from the media following the announcement.
