Health Council of Canada Announces New Chair and Councillors
TORONTO, Dec. 10 /CNW/ - The Health Council of Canada welcomes Dr. Jack Kitts as Council Chair, effective December 1, 2010. Dr. Kitts is President and CEO of The Ottawa Hospital, one of Canada's largest research hospitals. He continues to practice anesthesia on a limited basis, and is also an associate professor in the Department of Anesthesia at the University of Ottawa.
"I look forward to working with this outstanding group of experts from across the country, and I hope to continue the excellent contributions of past Councillors," said Dr. Kitts.
