TORONTO, April 1, 2016 /CNW/ - On March 31, 2016, the Ontario Hospital Association (OHA)'s signature event, HealthAchieve, was presented with the prestigious "Best Trade Show" award at the 19th Annual Canadian Event Industry Awards (CEIA), a national program which recognizes outstanding achievements in Canadian special events.
HealthAchieve was recognized for its progressive annual tradeshow which hosts close to 300 exhibitors from across the globe.
"Making the event a one-of-a-kind experience for our attendees while ensuring that it's a successful show for exhibitors is our top priority," said Warren DiClemente, Chief Operating Officer and Vice President, Educational Services, OHA. "We are thrilled that HealthAchieve has been recognized by peers in the industry as the must-attend event for health care and business leaders."
With unique features, special attractions, prizes and events happening on the show floor, HealthAchieve is able to create an exhibit that is well-attended, innovative and truly inspiring. A new and exciting partnership with the Intelligent Health Association (IHA) allowed HealthAchieve to introduce the first-ever technology destination on the exhibit floor, known as the Intelligent Hospital Pavilion™ (IHP). Building on the resounding success of the IHP, HealthAchieve 2016 will introduce a much larger, dedicated technology space that will feature an iHome and Wearable Technology Pavilion™.
"The goal each year is to create an exhibit floor that both brings value to exhibitors and supports the advancement of health care," said Anthony Dale, President and CEO, OHA. "This award certainly acknowledges this achievement and we're excited to offer this world-class event to health care professionals from Ontario, across Canada and countries from across the globe."
HealthAchieve hosts close to 6,000 attendees, including thousands of health care and business leaders, attracts 300 exhibitors from across the globe showcasing the latest health care innovations, and boasts over 50 educational sessions and 200 speakers. Show participants and exhibitors have praised HealthAchieve as being an excellent opportunity to learn about the latest innovations in health care, to hear from world-class speakers and experts from around the world, and to network with colleagues from Ontario and beyond.
