HealthSpace Data Systems Ltd. - Florida State Department of Health Announcement Clarification

VANCOUVER, Oct. 31, 2018 /CNW/ - HealthSpace Data Systems Ltd. (the "Company" or "HealthSpace") (CSE:HS) (Frankfurt:38H) (OTC:HDSLF), at the request of Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC), is providing clarification to its announcement regarding the Florida Department of Health ("DOH") posting on MyForidaMarketPlace Vendor Bid System and its intent to award a five year contract to HealthSpace USA Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, subject to successful contract negotiations.

The Company wishes to clarify the statement made by its President, Joseph Willmott, that the award is the "largest single contract bid ever issued by an environmental health regulatory body" by stating that this contract, when finalized, will be the largest contract ever signed by the Company in terms of gross dollar amount and the number of users.  Part of HealthSpace's core business is reviewing and responding to all environmental health related proposals issued by regulatory agencies across North America.  As a result of its experience in responding to regulatory agency tenders over the past 21 years, this award represents the largest environmental health regulatory agency contract by dollar amount and number of users.

As a point of reference, HealthSpace announced in March 2018 that it signed the largest contract in its history with the Virginia Department of Health valued at $3.061 million USD over five years with up to 1,000 users.
