MONTREAL, Feb. 19 /CNW Telbec/ - HEC Montréal has just been listed for the first time in Expansion, a Mexican magazine that has published an annual ranking of the world's top MBA programs since 2006. This was the first time that the School took part, and it was rated among the world's best business schools for its intensive graduate program.
"Our presence in the Expansion ranking is good news. It is sure to help our recruiting in South America, one of the markets we are currently targeting," says Jacques Roy, MBA Program Director. "Our success in this international ranking comes on top of our presence on the AméricaEconomia list, and will strengthen our image in South America."
The School's internationalization drive is aimed primarily at drawing a larger proportion of international students, from a wider variety of countries. Having the School appear in South American rankings will help considerably in this regard.
The HEC Montréal Intensive MBA program, spanning over 12 months and offered in French and English, also ranks in the Top 10 best MBA programs outside the United States. Approximately a hundred students are registered in the program each year since its creation in 1996.
