HEC Montréal Signs a Partnership Agreement with the CFA (Chartered Financial
Analyst) Institute
MONTREAL, Nov. 5 /CNW Telbec/ - HEC Montréal is proud to announce that it has obtained official accreditation from the prestigious CFA Institute. The CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) program, a standard recognized worldwide for evaluating the competence and integrity of financial analysts, is already a well-integrated part of undergraduate and graduate programs at HEC Montréal. The CFA is an international body that represents over 100,000 members practising in 135 different countries and territories.
"The CFA program is an essential international asset," emphasizes HEC Montréal Director Michel Patry. "It is a sign of excellence that identifies professionals specializing in the investment field." Thanks to the School's specialized finance programs, its students are in a good position to pass the three examinations required to obtain the CFA charter.
In June, HEC Montréal became the first university in Canada to make the CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) curriculum on alternative investments part of its Bachelor's in Business Administration program.
HEC Montréal was the first business school in North America to hold the three most prestigious accreditations in management education: AACSB International (United States), EQUIS (Europe) and AMBA (United Kingdom).
