Help an Adopted Pet Make the Team at the PetSmart Charities of Canada National Adoption Weekend, September 12-14

TORONTO, Sept. 3, 2014 /CNW/ - Fall is here and you know what that means: hockey season is almost back. Whether you cheer loudly for your team every game or simply jump on the bandwagon at the end of the season, it's a great time to add another "teammate" to your cheering section. This fall, consider saving a life by adopting a pet at the PetSmart Charities of Canada National Adoption Weekend.

This weekend-long event, sponsored by PetSmart^®, takes place from September 12-14 at your local PetSmart store and is the perfect opportunity to find a new teammate. More than 100 animal welfare organizations will be on-site at all 95 PetSmart stores in Canada to help you find a new buddy to cheer alongside you this season.

How to Adopt
Visit the PetSmart Charities' adoption centre inside any PetSmart store in Canada from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, September 12 and Saturday, September 13; and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, September 14.
