Maple Leaf Foods Launches National Search for Canada's Bacon Ambassador
TORONTO, April 29, 2015 /CNW/ - Maple Leaf Foods announced today that it has begun a nation-wide search to find Canada's next Bacon Marketing Manager.
"We are looking for Canada's #1 bacon ambassador – someone who loves everything bacon and wants to tell all Canadians about it through leading marketing communications, creative, promotions, recipes and more," said Chantal Butler, Vice President, Marketing & Masterbrands, Maple Leaf Foods. "The successful candidate will have the opportunity to essentially run Maple Leaf's bacon business, owning a P&L and building award-winning campaigns with original work. The successful candidate will become Canada's foremost bacon ambassador. As the Marketing Manager, Bacon, he or she will provide expert knowledge of brand, consumer interactions, product innovation, channel development and communications campaigns for a diverse and innovative bacon pipeline that includes Canada's leading brands, Maple Leaf and Schneiders, as well as private label and U.S. business. The successful candidate will lead and work closely with multidisciplinary teams through the commercialization of one of the Company's most profitable and highly irresistible categories.
