OTTAWA, Oct. 26, 2015 /CNW/ - Her Excellency Sharon Johnston will attend The Royal-Mach-Gaensslen Prize for Mental Health Research award ceremony at The Royal on Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at 11 a.m. Mrs. Johnston will be accompanied by His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada. Mrs. Johnston will deliver remarks to congratulate the recipient of the award, who will be announced during the ceremony.
This year marks the inauguration of an award that will be given annually to a Canadian clinical researcher in mental health. The Royal-Mach-Gaensslen Prize for Mental Health Research was established in 2015, to recognize and support Canadian early-career researchers in the area of mental health.
