Popular King Street beauty bar announces partnership with creative communications agency
TORONTO, Feb. 18, 2015 /CNW/ - Her Majesty's Pleasure (HMP), King West's premier beauty bar and boutique, announced today they have retained DECK Agency as Agency of Record. The creative communications agency will be tasked with full service public relations, social media management, digital marketing, and strategic planning services and will also support branding extension amplification.
Her Majesty's Pleasure selected DECK Agency for their experience working with a number of high profile hospitality and luxury lifestyle clients. "We're thrilled to have DECK on board as our agency of record," said Jeff Armstrong, owner of HMP. "With a portfolio of complimentary brands, DECK Agency offers a specialized understanding of an, affluent, sophisticated audience and has expertise creating engaging content for luxury brands. They are a perfect fit to represent us." Wife and business partner Sara Kardan adds: "DECK and their partners understand us as entrepreneurs and offer a wealth of knowledge on local audiences but also in growth markets to support our expansion plans."
Her Majesty's Pleasure was founded in Toronto in 2014, with a fresh approach to the beauty experience. Equal parts spa, salon, café, boutique, and bar, Her Majesty's Pleasure is unique to the city and offers a vibrant social atmosphere for both women and men. Guests can have their nails done at the marble manicure bar, recline in a Muskoka chair for a pedicure, or enjoy a blowdry or facial while sipping on a fresh-squeezed juice, champagne, specialty coffee, or signature cocktail. Delightful macarons, freshbaked goods, salads, and sandwiches are also available, and a boutique offering a curated selection of fine beauty products and designer accessories is nestled between the salon and café. There is truly something for everyone at Her Majesty's Pleasure.
Occupying the base of the Fashion House on King Street West, the interiors of Her Majesty's Pleasure are elegant and contemporary. The palette is bright and modern, with whites, soft greys, marble, touches of yellow, and varying shades of blue. Douglas fir and slate add warmth and texture, while custom-designed tiles add a graphic energy to the café and bar area. Ultra-high ceilings and natural light produce an open, airy atmosphere throughout the space. Renowned design firm +tongtong were awarded #1 Salon Design in the World 2014 for their work on Her Majesty's Pleasure by Azure Magazine Online.
"Her Majesty's Pleasure is a dynamic business with a great deal of potential; there's absolutely nothing else like it here in Toronto, or anywhere." said Jonathan Tick, Founder and CEO of DECK Agency. "We're looking forward to providing engaging social-media rich content, ROI-driven marketing solutions, and assisting in the growth and operational excellence of what we view as one of Toronto's most unique experiences."
