TORONTO, Feb. 23, 2012 /CNW/ - CTV and The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) announced today additional artists confirmed to perform on CTV's broadcast of THE 2012 JUNO AWARDS, Sunday, April 1 from Scotiabank Place in Ottawa - Canada's Capital, hosted by Canadian legend William Shatner. In addition to the previously announced performance lineup, Newfoundland indie darlings Hey Rosetta! join Canada's biggest night in music for what is sure to be an unforgettable performance. The broadcast also features a live 'mixed tape' performance of the top dance hits of this year with some of Canada's biggest names in pop and dance music, including nominees Alyssa Reid, Anjulie, Dragonette, JRDN, and Mia Martina. Additionally, it was confirmed that Grammy and JUNO Award winner Sarah McLachlan will make a special appearance with 2012 Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductees Blue Rodeo.

Today's announcement brings the number of artists confirmed to perform on CTV's broadcast to 12:
