MONTREAL, Oct. 12, 2018 /CNW/ - Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)
David Lametti, Member of Parliament for LaSalle‒Émard‒Verdun and Parliamentary Secretary to the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions, announced that eNuvio, a highly innovative company, will receive $50,000 in funding, in the form of a repayable contribution, to support its startup.
Created in 2016 by three young PhD students, eNuvio Inc. is a startup company that designs and develops lab-on-a-chip technologies used in life science research and drug development. After its incubation at Centech (Centre de l'entrepreneurship technologique), eNuvio is now launching its production out of Complexe Dompark. The funding granted through CED's Quebec Economic Development Program will allow eNuvio to acquire and install its clean room equipment.
