Holcim Canada and its Dufferin Construction division reaches out to support flood victims in Southern Alberta
TORONTO, June 28, 2013 /CNW/ - Holcim (Canada) Inc., and its Dufferin Construction division, announced today that they will be donating funds through the Canadian Red Cross for the victims of the recent flooding in Southern Alberta.
"The Red Cross is grateful for this generous donation from Holcim Canada," said Conrad Sauvé, Canadian Red Cross Secretary General and CEO. "Donations such as this will ensure that the Canadian Red Cross can continue its work in Alberta to help those families who have been affected by the flooding."
Both Holcim Canada and Dufferin Construction have operations in Western Canada, including major infrastructure projects in Calgary and cement distribution terminals in Alberta. The company has built a solid reputation for its commitment to the communities where it operates and believes strongly in giving back, particularly in times of need.
