HOMEQ Corporation Concludes Issuance of CDN$10,000,000 Promissory Note
TORONTO, Sept. 24 /CNW/ - HOMEQ Corporation (TSX: HEQ) ("HOMEQ") today announced that it has entered into a Loan Agreement with a Canadian chartered bank pursuant to which it has issued a CDN$10,000,000 Promissory Note (the "Note") due May 31, 2016 with a coupon of 8.21%. The proceeds of the Note will be invested in HOMEQ's wholly owned subsidiary, HomEquity Bank, constituting subordinated indebtedness within the meaning of the Bank Act (Canada) and qualifying as Tier 2 B Capital.
The transaction was conducted on a private basis.
