MARKHAM, ON, Oct. 26, 2012 /CNW/ - The 2013 Honda Accord Sedan was voted the best vehicle in its class yesterday, when the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) recognized its fuel efficiency, safety, fun-to-drive performance and overall value.
"We thank AJAC for hosting this year's TestFest and we're extremely proud to see the Accord recognized by so many of Canada's top journalists," said Dave Jamieson, assistant vice president, Honda Canada. "The Accord is one of our most important and best-selling vehicles, so we're thrilled to receive the great feedback that we're continuing to raise the bar in the family car category."
The 2013 AJAC Canadian Car of the Year (COTY) competition was conducted from October 21-26 in Niagara-On-The-Lake, Ontario with more than 80 journalist members of AJAC conducting back-to-back test evaluations of more than 60 vehicles in 11 separate categories. According to AJAC officials, the event is designed to provide Canadian consumers with sound, comparative information on vehicles that are new to the market.
