HONDA CIVIC CONCEPT TO MAKE WORLD DEBUT AT NORTH AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL AUTO SHOW
TORONTO, Dec. 13 /CNW/ - The styling direction of the next-generation Honda Civic will debut at the 2011 North American International Auto Show during the press preview on Monday, January 10.
The company released a sketch of the Civic Concept that conveys the sleek and aerodynamic profile of the show vehicle. The production version of the 9th-generation 2012 Civic based on the revealed concept will go on sale in spring 2011. The reveal of the concept vehicle at the auto show will be broadcast live via webcast on: www.hondanews.com/live2011naias.
Now in its 41st year of operation in Canada, Honda Canada Inc. has sold more than 3,400,000 Honda and Acura passenger cars and light-duty trucks in Canada. A record high 91 per cent of the Honda and Acura vehicles sold in Canada in 2009 were produced at the company's assembly plants in North America, up nearly 3 per cent from 2008. Since 1986, Honda has built more than 5,500,000 cars and trucks at its Ontario assembly facilities. More than half of all vehicles sold in Canada last year were also made here in Canada.
