Hope 24/7 hosts conference addressing violence in diverse communities
BRAMPTON, ON, Feb. 18, 2015 /CNW/ - On March 4th, 2015, charitable organization Hope 24/7 hosts its first "Strengthening Our Allies: Addressing Sexual Violence in Diverse Communities" conference, to enhance knowledge about systematic and psychological issues related to sexual violence, spark conversation and contribute to informed response among local leaders.
Expert speakers will include Harinder Malhi, Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister Responsible for Women's Issues, Dr. Clare Pain, Director of the Psychological Trauma Program at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, and other experts in the field.
