/CNW/ - Freshatch Inc., the creator of Hornaments(TM) - bull-horn shaped, magnetic, customizable, temporary hood ornaments used on passenger vehicles - is pleased to announce its partnership with the Tough Enough to Wear Pink ("TETWP") Western Industry Campaign in support of breast cancer research.
Supporters of cancer research (including rodeo committees, event organizers and the public) can purchase Hornaments together with the pink Holstein cow decal (decorative label exclusive to the TETWP Campaign) which are available online at www.hornaments.com/tetwp.php and during select western themed events and venues throughout the year. A portion of proceeds will be directed to the TETWP Campaign as well as local and national cancer research organizations.
"We are honoured to join Tough Enough to Wear Pink and other Western Industry players in such an important campaign," says
Paul Moon
of Freshatch. "Breast cancer and other forms of this disease unfortunately touch many individuals including the families and friends of those affected. We believe the use of Hornaments by the public can play an integral role in raising further awareness and funds for the TETWP campaign and other important charities in a fun and unique way. We look forward to unveiling some rather dynamic events here in the City of
Calgary
, home of the world famous
Calgary
Stampede, and strongly believe that the support of our city will help inspire others to take part in this work."
About Tough Enough to Wear Pink
Tough Enough to Wear Pink was created by entrepreneur and breast cancer survivor
Terry Wheatley
to bring the sport of professional rodeo and the western community together to rally against breast cancer. Since its inception in 2004, TETWP has empowered rodeos and western events in the U.S. and
Canada
to focus attention on the need for a cure. To date, the campaign has raised over US$5 million for breast cancer charities, much of which stays right in the local community. The grassroots movement has inspired other sports communities to mount their own TETWP campaigns, spreading a message of hope and support that reaches beyond the rodeo arena to competitors, families, and fans across
North America
.
