Hotel-Addict.com releases definitive list of Canada's 50 best hotels
WINNIPEG, Oct. 25, 2018 /CNW/ - Hotel-Addict.com, a website and e-zine created by, and for, hotel lovers, has released its exclusive list of Canada's 50 best hotels, as chosen by its team of highly experienced, professional travel writers and editors.
Each of the properties selected were chosen because of exceptional service, great ambiance, quality amenities and superb style. While some of the hotels are posh, the list doesn't focus solely on luxury, and includes a number of moderately priced properties.
How did we choose the 50 best hotels in Canada?
The team at Hotel-Addict.com is comprised of a group of travel writers who, collectively, have more than 100 years of experience reviewing hotels. Each writer selected his or her favourite hotels across the country based on service, style and amenities.
The individual lists were sent to Janice Tober, executive editor of Hotel-Addict.com. "There were some hotels we all agreed should be on the list; others, we discussed and, yes, there was even some cajoling involved as we stood up for our favourites," said Tober. "The process was intensive and included looking at numerous readers' suggestions. It took us several weeks of careful review before we created the best 50."
From there, each writer independently chose his or her top 10 hotels in order from the list. The ones with the most votes, determined their final placement.

The team consisted of executive editor Janice Tober, senior editor Michele Sponagle, regular contributors, Waheeda Harris, Sandra MacGregor and Doug Wallace and guest contributor, Karen Burshtein.
