Housing Industry Celebrates Achievements at National SAM Awards
WHISTLER, BC, April 4, 2014 /CNW/ - The achievements of Canada's leading new home builders, renovators and developers were recognized at the Canadian Home Builders' Association's National SAM Awards presented today. The awards were a highlight of the CHBA National Conference with builders from across Canada receiving many of the top honours.
"Each of these CHBA National SAM Award winners are truly accomplished," CHBA President Deep Shergill said. "I congratulate all the winners and commend their outstanding performance."
The CHBA National SAM Awards honour outstanding achievement by new home builders, renovators and developers, and by their marketing teams.
Doug Tarry Homes of St. Thomas, ON won the prestigious Grand SAM Award. The firm also won two New Home Awards for the best single detached home under 1,500 square feet and between 1,500 and 2,200 square feet in the production category. The Grand SAM is presented annually to a CHBA builder member for combined excellence in both the building and marketing of new homes.
The Daniels Corporation of Toronto, ON won the Marketing Excellence Award with creative concept and production by Montana Steele Strategic Marketing. The award recognizes the builder-member achieving the highest cumulative results in at least four Marketing Award categories. In 2013, the firm also won individual Marketing Awards in Print Ad and Sales office categories.
The CHBA National SAM Awards, presented by Masco and Delta Faucet, is Canada's premier competition for new homes, home renovations, community development, marketing and sales.
