How to get out of a "sticky situation"

If your gas pedal ever gets stuck, CAA recommends the following:
- Stay calm. - Keep looking ahead at the road. - Press and hold down on the brakes. At the same time, shift the car into neutral. - Steer the vehicle safely to the side of the road and call CAA for roadside assistance. Or call your dealership to come get the car.
Remember to routinely check for loose floor mats and wiring that may interfere with your pedals.
Drivers should also follow any notices sent out by Toyota.
If you are concerned about your car, but not experiencing any problems, take it to your dealership and have a professional look at it.
