HSBC to donate $100,000 to the Canadian Red Cross, accepting donations for communities impacted by BC wildfires
VANCOUVER, July 11, 2017 /CNW/ - To help support residents affected by the ongoing wildfires in British Columbia, HSBC will offer financial relief to impacted customers, and has pledged a $100,000 donation to the Canadian Red Cross. HSBC will also accept customer donations for the Canadian Red Cross at all HSBC branches across Canada from July 13 to August 11.
Sandra Stuart, President and Chief Executive Officer, HSBC Bank Canada said: "With our deep roots in British Columbia, our hearts and minds are with the people and businesses dealing with the loss and uncertainty created by the wildfires.
