It's
You roll out of bed and turn on your home computer to check the news. You see an article about the implementation of the tax, and you realize you're now paying 8% more in monthly internet fees.
You turn on the stove to heat the kettle. Surely, you can have a cup of coffee in the morning without the government picking your pocket. Sorry, hydro and natural gas just went up 8%.
To get to work, you take the bus some days, other days you drive. It doesn't much matter. Either way, you'll be paying more from now on because the HST applies to public transit fares and gasoline. That's going to cost a lot over the years.
You're beginning to get the picture. Everywhere you turn, you're paying more for a long list of products and services. You'll be paying these taxes far into the future on hundreds of items such as vitamins, haircuts, fees for your kids' sports programs, vet bills, taxis, airfare, Christmas trees, and someday even your own funeral.

You still have a chance to defeat the Hated Sales Tax. The National Citizens Coalition is leading a campaign to stop the tax before it becomes law. Here's what you can do.
Go to www.nationalcitizens.ca where you'll find an HST calculator. Fill in the blanks to find out how much the Hated Sales Tax will cost you personally. We also invite the media to have a go.
After you peel yourself off the ceiling, send a letter from the website to the Premier and your MPP, telling them what you think and how you'll vote in the next election if they don't tank the tax.
Watch for news and announcements on our site. We'll be holding rallies and running radio and billboard ads.
Before it's too late, say No to Dalton's Hated Sales Tax.
We need your support and participation. Please get involved.
