Hudson Energy Canada Donates $5,000 to the YMCAs of Edmonton, Calgary and Wood Buffalo
EDMONTON, Alberta, Sept. 24, 2012 /CNW/ - Hudson Energy Canada Corp., a subsidiary of Just Energy Group Inc, a leading competitive North American retailer of natural gas, electricity and green energy, has donated a total of $5,000 to the Edmonton, Calgary and Wood Buffalo YMCAs. The funds will benefit the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign in each chapter.

As a major annual fund-raising initiative of the YMCA, the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign helps thousands of people every year access YMCA programs and membership. With a mandate that no one should be turned away because of inability to pay, the funds raised give children, youth and adults an opportunity to join YMCA programs designed to promote health, education and job skills. Within this positive environment, young people gain the skills that lead to better life decisions.
