Dr. John Hagen is highly sought after as a teacher and mentor by students and physicians around the world
TORONTO, Dec. 2, 2014 /CNW/ - Dr. John Hagen, Chief of Surgery at Toronto's Humber River Hospital (HRH), is the recipient of the 2014 Mentor of the Year Award – Region 3 – from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. This is one of the highest honours given out by the College and one of many prominent awards Hagen has won for his teaching of medical students.
The award recognizes a physician who has made a significant impact on the career development of students, residents or fellows; and who has a proven ability to be an outstanding role model, demonstrating the qualities and competencies of Manager, Scholar and Professional.
