Humber River Medical Director of Bariatric Surgery - Inaugural Recipient of
prestigious University of Toronto Award for Mentorship
TORONTO, June 2 /CNW/ - Dr. John Hagen, Humber River Regional Hospital's (HRRH) Medical Director of Bariatric Surgery, has been awarded the University of Toronto Robert Mustard Mentorship Award at the 33rd Annual Assembly of General Surgeons - University of Toronto.
The Robert Mustard Mentorship Award recognizes a physician mentor who is devoted to excellence in clinical training, and who provides exemplary teaching, leadership and expertise to senior general surgery residents from the University of Toronto. The award is voted on by these residents and will be given out on an annual basis. Dr. Hagen has the distinct honour of being the inaugural recipient.
