Hydro One crews continue to restore power to the 37,000 still affected by yesterday's wind storm
TORONTO, Nov. 2, 2013 /CNW/ - Hydro One employees continue to work across the province to repair damage and restore electricity to 37,000 customers still without power. Hydro One is advising that those customers in the hardest hit areas will be without power again overnight. The total number of Hydro One customers affected by yesterday's storm was over 221,000.
"We continue to move crews to assist with restoration efforts in the most damaged areas and we expect to have the majority of customers restored today. However in some of the more remote areas, some customers will remain without power until tomorrow," said Len McMillan, Vice President, Operations and Maintenance, Hydro One Networks. "We thank our customers for their patience."
