iA Financial Group announces the retirement of Normand Pépin, Executive Vice-President and Assistant to the President Français
QUEBEC CITY, April 2, 2019 /CNW Telbec/ - iA Financial Group announces that Normand Pépin, Executive Vice-President and Assistant to the President, will retire on June 20, 2019, after more than 46 years of service.
Mr. Pépin began his career with the company in 1973 as an actuarial analyst and very quickly assumed leadership roles of increasing responsibility in actuarial services, IT and the group sectors. He was responsible for the individual insurance and annuities lines of business for more than 30 years, a position that he held until 2015. Subsequently, he led corporate development for the organization.
"Normand is recognized both within and outside iA Financial Group as a builder and architect who has worked devotedly on the development of our organization since the 1980s," said Denis Ricard, President and Chief Executive Officer of iA Financial Group. Normand has been instrumental in leading virtually every acquisition made by iA Financial Group over the last 30 years."
Mr. Pépin was a member of the iA Financial Group Planning Committee, chaired by Denis Ricard, President and Chief Executive Officer.
