TORONTO, May 20, 2016 /CNW/ - The Toronto chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) is proud to announce the recipients of the 2016 OVATION Award program that recognizes excellence in business communications.
The awards were presented at the annual OVATION gala, held at the Sheraton Centre Hotel on Wednesday, May 18. About 270 people attended the OVATION Awards gala, the premier event, to honour communicators whose campaigns make a significant contribution to the success of the organizations they support.
In total, IABC/Toronto awarded 78 entries from across the Greater Toronto Area, with 27 Awards of Excellence and 51 Awards of Merit.
"Each year the calibre of entries increases and this year was no exception. I'm very proud of what the communications profession considers its best work as demonstrated by each of this year's OVATION Award winners," said Suzanna Cohen, ABC, CMP, President, IABC/Toronto.
