Ice, Wine & Dine, presented by Mastercard Canada, turns Elm Street into a food and wine paradise
TORONTO, Nov. 1, 2012 /CNW/ - Embrace the season with an evening of culinary delights, festive cocktails and live entertainment on historic Elm Street this Saturday, November 3 from 4 p.m.-10 p.m. Fifteen area restaurants and shops set up right on Elm Street (between Bay and Yonge streets) for one special evening each year.
Legendary steakhouse, Barberians, Italian favourite, Oro Restaurant, Portuguese restaurant, Adega and many more will offer the best samplings from their menu, for $5 or less. Wine lovers can visit Commensal Restaurant's wine bar, trying samplings chosen by guest sommelier, Doris Miculan Bradley. And, as always, the Downtown Yonge BIA will set up the Ice Martini Lounge offering delicious cocktails. Event goers will be able to stroll along the picturesque street enjoying free entertainment from deejay, Dr. J, and beat boxer extraordinaire, Human Record. Festive carollers and a stilt walking performer as well as live ice carvings always draw crowds. Free admission.
