BCTIA recognizes Icron for its USB over DisplayPort technology for desktop and mobile computing
BURNABY, BC, June 11 /CNW/ - Icron Technologies (TSX Venture: IT), leading providers of ExtremeUSB(R) USB extension solutions, announced today that they have been chosen the winner of the prestigious 2010 Technology Impact Award for Most Promising Pre-Commercial Technology for their USB over DisplayPort technology for desktop and mobile computing. Presented by the British Columbia Technology Industry Association (BCTIA), this award acknowledges a pre-commercial technology in the R&D stage of development with the potential to commercialize and represents a fundamental advancement in technology.
