IKEA Canada pilots Click & Collect service at Winnipeg store
Service being piloted at Winnipeg store aims to make the shopping experience even more convenient for local residents
BURLINGTON, ON, Dec. 9, 2016 /CNW/ - IKEA Canada announced today the launch of Click & Collect service at its Winnipeg location.
Customers in the Winnipeg market who shop online at www.IKEA.ca can now select 'Click & Collect' as an option at checkout. They can then pick up their products at the Winnipeg store during a pre-determined timeframe for a flat rate of $20. Products that are available for purchase online are eligible for Click & Collect service.
Click & Collect is tailored to meet the needs of time-crunched IKEA customers who want to take advantage of the convenience of picking up their purchases without shopping in store. It is just one of the many ways IKEA is striving to put its customers at the centre of everything it does.
"We know we have an opportunity to provide our customers with even more convenient services, which is why we are happy to announce this next step in our evolution into a world-class multichannel retailer," said Jennifer Allen, IKEA Winnipeg Store Manager.
It is IKEA's aim to make the brand more accessible and convenient for the many Canadians, through increased service offerings like Click & Collect, Pick-up and order points, improvements to its eCommerce interface and optimized distribution services. IKEA hopes to provide its customers with one consistent IKEA experience, no matter which channels they choose to use.
Click & Collect service is being piloted at IKEA Winnipeg and is not currently available at other IKEA stores in Canada. The retailer is continuing to explore the possibility of expanding the service to all IKEA stores in Canada.
