Repair Kit is Available Through All IKEA Canada Locations
BURLINGTON, ON, Aug. 15, 2013 /CNW/ - IKEA Canada has initiated a voluntary recall for repair on the KRITTER and SNIGLAR junior beds today. There have been no reports of injury in Canada, however, there have been incidents where the metal rod connecting the guardrail to the bed frame has broken. The broken rod can expose sharp metal edges, presenting a possible laceration hazard.
At IKEA, the safety and security of everyone who comes into contact with our product is a top priority. IKEA asks that all customers who have a KRITTER or SNIGLAR junior bed to immediately check the date stamp on their product and if they have an affected product immediately visit their local IKEA store for a free repair kit.

Description: This recall involves the KRITTER junior bed model number 60090470, date stamp (YYWW) 1114-1322 and SNIGLAR junior bed model number 50087166 date stamp 1114-1318.
Sold exclusively at: IKEA globally from 2005 to May 2013.
Manufactured in: Poland, Romania and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
