BURLINGTON, ON, June 5, 2013 /CNW/ - Today, IKEA Canada has initiated a voluntary recall on the LYDA jumbo cup. While there have been no incidents reported in Canada, the cups can break when hot liquid is poured into them, creating a potential burn hazard.
At IKEA, the safety and security of everyone who comes into contact with our product is a top priority. IKEA asks that all customers who have a LYDA jumbo cup to immediately stop using the cup and return to it to an IKEA store for a full refund.

Sold exclusively at: IKEA globally from August 2012 through April 2013 for $4.99.

Remedy: Return to any IKEA store for a full refund.
