IKEA Chooses Ideal Candidate to Serve Winnipeg Customers
BURLINGTON, ON, April 10, 2012 /CNW/ - IKEA Canada announced today that Winnipeg native Stephen Bobko will be welcomed on April 15, 2012 as the new IKEA Winnipeg Store Manager. Bobko joins IKEA with 12 years of senior retail management and leadership experience.
"Throughout his retail career, Stephen has demonstrated an ability to identify and develop talent, energize teams and build business strategies where the customer experience is a number one priority." says Cory Randles, Human Resources Manager, IKEA Canada. Construction is well under way and the new IKEA store at Kenaston Boulevard and Sterling Lyon Parkway will be open in late 2012. The IKEA store, approximately 350,000 sq ft, serves as an anchor in the Seasons of Tuxedo retail development in which IKEA is also a development partner.
