IKO Announces Contest Winners

Ten North American contractors capture cash prizes for projects using IKO Dynasty^TM roofing shingles

KANKAKEE, IL, Dec. 17, 2015 /CNW/ - IKO, a global leader in the manufacture of roofing shingles and related roofing products, has chosen the winners of a contest the company ran to support the introduction of its most  advanced architectural laminated asphalt shingles to date.

"Our exciting 'Picture Your Perfect Dynasty Roof Photo Contest' invited roofing professionals throughout the United States and Canada to submit photographs of any residential roofing projects they completed using IKO's new Dynasty asphalt shingles," said Carol Perkins, Director of Marketing.

"Homeowners who used Dynasty shingles and entered the contest received a prepaid Visa gift card as a thank-you for their participation.

"We were very pleased to receive so many entries, although this made our judges' jobs harder in determining the winners. One Grand Prize winner and four runners-up for both Canada and the United States were awarded cash prizes."

The two $5000 Grand Prize winners were Ace Home Improvement of Conway, Arkansas and Kirby's Roofing of Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia.

Second Place Prizes of $2500 each were awarded to Midtown Home Improvement of O'Fallon, Missouri and Integrity Roofing of Salmon Arm, British Columbia.

Prizes of $500 each were awarded to two Third Place winners: Midwest Construction Group, LLC of St. Charles, Missouri and PRH Roofing of Bradford, Ontario.  Fourth Place winners: Ace Home Improvement of Conway, Arkansas and Forest City Roofing of London, Ontario. Fifth Place winners were Midwest Construction Group, LLC of St. Charles, Missouri and Forest City Roofing of London, Ontario.

Perkins says that the winning photographs will be showcased on IKO's company website and social channels and may also be included in other publicity pieces, such as trade magazine ads.

"This will give our winning contractors even more well-deserved exposure for their businesses while helping IKO show prospective customers how beautiful these Dynasty shingles truly look on actual homes."
