IKO Expands Sales and Service Coverage to Arkansas, Louisiana

Leading manufacturer of roofing materials to supply product and support in new territories

KANKAKEE, IL, June 20, 2013 /CNW/ - IKO, a North American pioneer and global leader in the roofing materials business, has announced a two-state expansion plan that goes into effect immediately.

According to Marketing Director, Carol Perkins, "IKO has begun to expand its presence in several geographic territories not previously serviced. It's a very exciting time for our company as these new markets discover the power and quality of the IKO brand.

"Members of our distribution network consistently cite our level of technical, sales and service support as among the best in the roofing industry. One of the reasons is that IKO helps them build their own businesses, too.

"The company sponsors training and certification programs for contractors, produces quality marketing materials and is highly responsive to the needs of local distributors."

She adds that having dedicated Sales Representatives in these markets will introduce potential customers to the many benefits of the IKO family of roofing products.

Keith Lowe, Vice-President of Sales (US), says that IKO's Southwest Region will provide sales and service support to both Arkansas and Western Louisiana. Eastern Louisiana will be covered by IKO's Southeast Region. Initially, product will be shipped from the company's reload facility in Houston, Texas.
