IKO signs as the exclusive roofing sponsor of the nation's largest local home services online marketplace

KANKAKEE, IL, Feb. 23, 2015 /CNW/ - IKO, a global leader in the manufacture of residential roofing shingles and commercial waterproofing and roofing products, recently partnered with HomeAdvisor to be the exclusive sponsor of HomeAdvisor's roofing category. The partnership is expected to help IKO build brand awareness and drive homeowner preferences for the company's roofing shingles and accessories.

IKO's branded content page is available on HomeAdvisor's website and lets homeowners view photos, watch videos, learn about IKO products, view special offers, and use IKO's RoofViewer^TM software tool to select the right look and color of shingle for their home.

This partnership will also benefit IKO's network of professional roofing contractors.

"The most relevant and engaging pages on HomeAdvisor's site are the Roofing Cost Guide and ProFinder contractor search pages," Perkins said. "When homeowners search for a contractor, they'll see the IKO logo first. IKO branding will also be featured in HomeAdvisor's exclusive partner network, including sites such as This Old House, Better Homes, MSN, and Realtor.com."

Perkins explains that IKO is confident the significant investment the company has made in this sponsorship will prove successful, given the program's visibility and HomeAdvisor's ever-growing volume of homeowners. The company anticipates that the high-profile nature of the Home Advisor sponsorship will provide an excellent opportunity to stand out from its competitors and increase market share.
