IMBA welcomes Margo Wynhofen as its new President.
TORONTO, March 25 /CNW/ - The Independent Mortgage Brokers Association of Ontario (IMBA) held its Annual General Meeting at the Mississauga Convention Centre yesterday and elected a new President for the 2010 - 2011 term. IMBA welcomes Margo Wynhofen to her new role. Margo has been a mortgage originator since 1998. Her academic achievements include an Honours Degree in Economics from the University of Toronto, and an Honours Post-Diploma in Financial Services Underwriting from Seneca College of Applied Arts And Technology.
In 2003, Margo obtained her mortgage broker's registration and formed her own company, specializing in residential mortgage financing. In 2006, she joined the Verico Mortgage Brokers Network - a national network of independent mortgage brokers, and formed Verico One Mortgage Corp., with an office in the Niagara region. She is also an accomplished rower, and now stays fit by participating in international long-distance rowing tours.

Additionally IMBA welcomed new Directors to the Board. Founder, Past-President and Chair of Education, Mal Eccles was re-elected for another three year term. Roslyn Goldmintz, Glenn May-Anderson and Brian Moskowitz were elected as new Directors for a three-year term.
Harold Cowling, of CMHC, was also confirmed as an Appointed Director for a three-year term, and Stewart Eadie, of JAC NEWS CORP was re-appointed as an Appointed Director for an additional one-year term.
The Independent Mortgage Brokers' Association of Ontario (IMBA) is an organization of mortgage financing professionals representing 1,200 members from over 300 Ontario companies.
